FAQs

Why is it 5 Miles?

The distance of 5 miles was a popular distance 25 years ago but over taken by the 5K and 10K distances.  A lot of people can run 5k with out too much problem but not confident with a 10K.  The 5 mile (8K) is a distance in between the two and a realistic target on the way to 10K.
